A Perfect Day in Venice

I’m still dream of my perfect day in Venice, an unusual city with lots of character and history. I still feel how the gondola moved from side to side by the tide of the water. While the gondolier sang in Italian we were moving thru canals that seemed that they would never end.

Getting lost in Venice is the best thing that can happen, you force yourself to discover new shops and alleys... keep walking and you arrive at the Piazza San Marco, a few more steps and you see the San Marco Campanile, turn around and you're in the Church of Santa Maria della Salute. My first time here and it felt like I knew the city my whole life…

Sigo soñando con mi día perfecto en Venecia, una inusual ciudad con mucha personalidad e historia. Aun siento como la góndola se movía de lado en lado por la marea del agua. Mientras el gondolero cantaba en Italiano nos adentrábamos a los canales que parecían que nunca iban ha acabar.

Perderse en Venecia es lo mejor que puede ocurrir, te obligas a descubrir nuevas tiendas y callejones… sigues caminando y llegas a la Plaza San Marcos, unos pasos más y vez el Campanario San Marco, te volteas y estás en la Iglesia de Santa Maria della Salute. Mi primera vez en la ciudad y me sentía como si la conociera toda mi vida…
