Better late than never, finally sharing all the footage from my birthday trip to Paris. I had a wonderful two day trip with my mom and my bestie. Words can’t explain how grateful I am to have been able to celebrate my 25th birthday this way. I hope you enjoy!
Until the next post, lots of love.
Hasta la próxima publicación, mucho amor.
Better late than never, finally sharing all the footage from my birthday trip to Paris. I had a wonderful two day trip with my mom...
Bonjour! Today I am
writing from the city of love, Paris, where I am celebrating my 25th birthday. Like all of my travel plans,
this “girls trip” was last minute and I am very happy that it happened. I am
very fortunate to have my mom and my best friend here, celebrating and
exploring the city with me.
We landed in France on
July 29, in the morning, exactly on my birthday. That same day we visited the Eiffel
Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Place de la Concorde and other wonderful places in
Paris. We ended the night with a delicious dinner and the Eiffel Tower light show.
This last year has
been a dream, with a lot of professional and personal growth. God has
blessed me greatly and has taken care of each of my steps. I am very happy to
share this post with you today. Lots
of love, until the next.
Bonjour!
ciudad junto a mi.
mucho crecimiento profesional y personal.
Seguimos
celebrando un año más de vida. Mucho amor, hasta el próximo post.

Oi! Bem vindo da vuelta, as you may already figure by the title, this post is about my recent and short visit to the capital of Portugal, Lisbon. I was only there for less than a day with the best travel companion by my side, who was willing to explore the city in record time. I have to admit, we were very organized and even had a list of all the places we wanted to visit. As a result, in a few hours, we had hundreds of photos and videos on our cameras and today I’m sharing every detail with you.
Oi!
From the airport, we went straight to the hotel since we landed early in the morning. Since our room was not ready we decided to leave our luggage with the concierge and go for a quick breakfast down the street. We stayed at Hotel Roma, just 10 minutes away, with Uber, from the airport and 16 minutes away from the Lisbon District.
After our much-needed cup of coffee, we walk all the way to the most famous roundabout in Lisbon and where the Marquês de Pompal monument is located, a symbol of the Portuguese renaissance. Near this square, you will find Avenida da Liberdade, which is the main avenue of the city, and Edward VII Park, the largest and most beautiful park in Lisbon, among other attractions such as the Medeiros e Almeida Museum.
Lisbon is one of the least expensive capital cities in Europe to visit. We ate something different every hour and barely spent money. Local beer, Sagres, was our favorite drink during this trip, and let’s not forget Portugal's iconic dessert, Pastéis de Nata or Pastéis de Belém (egg tart pastry).
Some of the restaurants we visited /Algunos de los restaurantes que visitamos:
Pastelaria Namur
(Avenida dos Defensores de Chaves 54-D, Lisbon 1000-120, Portugal)
Marcelino Pão & Vinho
(Rua do Salvador nº62, 1100-466 Lisboa, Portugal)
Claras em Castelo
(R. Bartolomeu de Gusmão 31, 1100-078 Lisboa, Portugal)
The District of Lisbon is amazing, you will find lots of things to do and see. We spend most of our time in that area since everything we wanted to see was relatively close. Our first stop was the Elevador de Santa Justa, one of the most popular elevator structures in the city, which is characterized by its neo-gothic iron design. Also, we were lucky to be visiting on one of the most colorful days of the year, the annual LGBT festival was being held at Praça do Comércio, near other important monuments such as the Arco da Rua Augusta.
To end the night, we visit the Miradouro das Portas do Sol. A balcony where you can appreciate one of the best views of Alfama, an emblematic neighborhood of Lisbon for its medieval structures and alleys. This place has a lot to offer, you can sit down and enjoy the talent of local musicians while looking at the sunset. I’m already counting the days to go back, eat more Pastéis de Nata and explore the rest of Portugal.

I was very excited when I found out I was going to have a 22-hour layover in Ireland, Dublin to be exact, the land of leprechauns (not to be confused with hobbits). Old pubs and crafted beers are a “must do” in Ireland, and since the weather was pretty bad during my short stay, any indoor activity with heater, food, and entertainment was the way to go.
I started my day having lunch at one of the oldest pubs in Ireland, The Brazen Head, established back in 1198. This gem has an extensive menu for all appetites and a historical atmosphere like no other.
I ordered the Atlantic (fresh) seafood chowder, served with traditional brown bread and a side of potatoes fries, my kind of food to recover from jetlag, and to drink, a pint of Harp Premium Lager.
Walking distance from the pub is the Guinness Storehouse and Brewery Tour. Depending on the date and time of the tour, tickets to the brewery will run from €18.50 to €25 ($22 to $29), admission includes a complete brewery experience of Ireland's most famous beer, how to pour the perfect pint at the Guinness Academy, tastings and lots more. After the tour, I decided to “chillax” with a pint of beer at The Gravity Bar and a breathtaking 360° view of the city.
I finished my night with a lovely dinner at Bar Italia Ristorante. Recommended by locals, this award-winning restaurant serves authentic Italian food and wine in an intimate venue. Located right in the heart of Dublin City Centre and across from the famous Temple Bar.

Time flies! Three months ago I made the decision to move to Savannah, Georgia, in search of new job opportunities and a better lifestyle. My life in Puerto Rico was no longer the same after Hurricane Maria, and at that moment my heart told me to venture to a change of scenery. Leaving my family and friends on the island, I moved to Savannah and my life changed. During all this time God had a wonderful plan for me...
Savannah has been an experience of growth and learning. Thanks to this, I managed to achieve one of my dreams and in the next month, I’m moving to another state to start this new chapter.
Life continues to surprise me with challenges and opportunities. I can’t be happier to start this new phase that I will share with you very soon. Meanwhile, here is a bit of my time in Savannah.
Lots of love. Until the next post.
Mucho amor. Hasta la próxima publicación.
