Throw a coin into the Fontana di Trevi…
According to the legend, by throwing a coin into the fountain you make sure you return to the Eternal City… Who docent want that? The Trevi Fountain is the largest water source in the city and one of the most famous monuments in the world. It's said that a second coin will ensure a new romance, and the third will ensure marriage… You have been warned!

Según la leyenda, arrojando una moneda a la fuente te aseguras de regresar a la Ciudad Eterna ... ¿Quién no quiere eso? La Fontana di Trevi es la fuente de agua más grande de la ciudad y uno de los monumentos más famosos del mundo. Se dice que una segunda moneda garantizará un nuevo romance, y la tercera garantizará el matrimonio... ¡Has sido advertido!

Feel like a gladiator in the Roman Coliseum…
Step inside and imagined all the gladiatorial battles and public spectacles that were held at this place. This amphitheater was used for entertainment for 390 years. It is estimated that more than 400,000 people died inside the Colosseum. Today this monument is an iconic symbol of Imperial Rome.

The smallest sovereign state in the world, with a population of 842 (2016). Ruled by the Bishop of Rome – the Pope. Within Vatican City are religious and cultural sites such as St. Peter's Basilica, the Sistine Chapel, and the Vatican Museums. You will find some of the most famous sculptures and paintings by Michelangelo's, such as Pietà, The Last Judgment, and the Sistine Chapel Vault.

The square is famous for its remains, monuments, and buildings that represent the use of urban spaces during the Roman Empire. In this place, known figures such as Julius Caesar and Augustus brought order and made their presence.

Está plaza es famosa por sus restos, monumentos y edificios que representa el uso de los espacios urbanos durante el Imperio Romano. Fue aquí donde figuras conocidas, como Julio Cesar y Augusto pusieron orden e hicieron presencia.


Eat pizza, pasta, gelato…and repeat.
Of course! The number one reason to come to Italy is because of the food. Italian cuisine is characterized by its simplicity in its dishes and its fresh ingredients. You can never go wrong with the classics: pizza Margherita, spaghetti alla carbonara, espresso, and gelato… (Preferably in that order).

Fun fact: To honor the Queen consort of Italy, Margherita of Savoy, the Neapolitan chef Raffaele Esposito created the "Pizza Margherita.” A pizza garnished with tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil, to represent the national colors of the Italian flag.

¡Por supuesto! La razón número uno para venir a Italia es debido a la comida. La cocina italiana se caracteriza por su sencillez en sus platos y sus ingredientes frescos. No te puedes equivocar con clásicos como: pizza margherita, spaghetti alla carbonara, espresso, y gelato ... (Preferiblemente en ese orden).

Dato curioso: Para honrar a la reina consorte de Italia, Margherita de Saboya, el chef napolitano Raffaele Esposito creó la "Pizza Margherita.” Una pizza adornada con tomates, mozzarella y albahaca, para representar los colores nacionales de la bandera italiana.
